Gansu, China -- Jingchuan county government in Gansu Province of China attaches importance to the restoration of Daxingguo Monastery (Dayun Monastery). But nearly 200 million funds are needed.
Mr. Zhang Huaiqun, who had been appealing, collecting, researching and cataloging material of Daxingguo Monastery over 10 years, says Ven. Xindian, Ven. Xinde in Shanghai gave suggestions and they have already transmitted relative information to Ven. Kok Kong, president of the Hong Kong Buddhist Association.
Ven. Miaolin, abbot of Falun Monastery in Kongtong Mountain in Pingliang city in Gansu Province says if Jingchuan can restore Daxingguo Monastery and Buddha Relics Stupa, offering Buddha Relics, it will be a great event in Buddhism, we are looking forward it. [Translator: Wang Xinyu]
