Some 1,000 People Participate "A Little Musical Concert" for the Scroll Painting Festival at Mihwangsa Temple in Haenam

Haenam, Korea -- Mihwangsa Temple (Abbot, Geumgang Sunim) had "A Little Musical Concert" and the Scroll Painting Festival on October 28, 2006 with about 1,000 participants. The musical concert was composed of Drums recital, Ocarena ensemble, Southern folk dance performance, and song festival. Other cultural programs were, "temple stay for the dear families of Mihwangsa," a special exhibition of "the meeting with the author of Juryeon (A long vertical boards hanging on the columns of temple buildings on which quotations from the Sutra are carved in Chinese characters)," "drawing of Mandara and designs of color painting," rub-copying, and sampling of the wild green tea, etc.
