 Sheng Hui
Ven. Sheng Hui was born in 1951 in Xiangtan, Hunan. He became a monk in 1981 at Qiyuan Monastery of Mt. Jiuhua in Anhui Province. In 1982, he received full ordination in Mt. Lu Donglin Monastery, and in 1989, awarded post-graduate degree at the Chinese Buddhist Academy. Ven. Sheng Hui served as both Vice President and Dean of the Chinese Buddhist Academy. In 2002, he became Vice President of the Buddhist Association of China and took charge of the general affairs. [Translator: Wang Xinyu]
