Fujian, China -- Until September 1, the Japanese Sangha have been experienced Chan (Zen) in South Potalaka Monastery in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China for three days. Mainly, they recited Buddha's name and meditation, and engaged the morning and evening recitation daily.
In the Meditation Hall, they meditated in a tranquil posture, and observed key phrase (huatou) diligently. And in the Buddha Recitation Hall, they recited Amitabha with all their heart.
The common idea of Duo Practice of Zen and Pure Land has been spreading in China for a very much long time. The Japanese Buddhism is originated from China.
