Beijing, China -- May 13^th, 2006, at the invitation of Ambassador of Sri Lanka in China, Ven.  Shenghui, standing vice-president of the Buddhist Association of China; Ven. Yanjue, Superintendent Master of the Guangji Temple, Beijing; Ven. Qingyuan, vice-director of the Office of Education Administration of the Buddhist Association of China; Ven. Hongdu, vice-director of Policy Research Office of the Buddhist Association of China; Ven. Yuanci, researcher of Chinese Institute for Buddhist Culture participated in the celebration of Vesak Day at Embassy of Sri Lanka in China.

Indian Ambassador, Nepalese Ambassador, Laotian Ambassador, Thailand Envoy, Burmese Envoy, Cambodian Minister-Counsellor, and Vietnamese Envoy who come from Buddhist countries also participated in this celebration.

Ven. Shenghui, standing vice-president of the Buddhist Association of China delivered an excellent speech at the ceremony, and Ven. Yuanci served as translator. All guests got great inspiration from the wisdom words of Ven. Shenghui, and agreed with what he stated. After Ven.
