Bangkok, Thailand -- From May 6th to May 11th, 2006, at the invitation of Thailand Government and Chulalongkorn University, Ven. Xuecheng, vice-chairman and Secretary-General of the Buddhist Association of China, led Chinese Buddhist Delegation attended the 3rd World Visakha Puja Conference hosted by Thailand.
More than 1,500 Buddhist leaders from 45 countries are participating in the four-day conference. The world Buddhist leaders are discussing approaches to publicize Buddhism worldwide and to effectively apply the Buddha's teachings to world peace, focusing on three principles, including happiness, peace and warmness.
