Nanjing, China -- At 9 AM, May 14th, 2006, Nanjing Vairocana Buddha Monastery held Inauguration Ceremony for Medicine Buddha Hall and the Opening-light Dharma-assembly for the Medicine Buddha Statue.
It is known that Medicine Buddha Hall is designed by Professor Yang De'an, Southeast University. Chief donor is Mr. Wanghua, chairman of the board of Jingsheng Group. Medicine Buddha Hall was lay a foundation on Sep. 1st, 2005, after eight months of construction, the Hall was accomplished.
The Medicine Buddha Statue was made by first-class Burman jade with exquisite workmanship, the Statue is elegant and venerable, whoever sees the Statue will surely feel happy.
The Opening-light ceremony was strictly executed according to the regulation, and completed successfully in the blissful praise of Buddhist followers.
